Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The global recognition of his music has helped him enter mainstream Latin music. In the year 2017 the song he released in 2016 Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. He released his debut long-player ADN for Sony's Medellin-based subsidiary La Industria Inc. The album reached the number 8 spot on the Top Latin Albums chart. He then joined Ozuna on the Top Five smash Vaina Loca. He collaborated on a track with Noriel in the song Mala Influencia in the year 2020, and next year, released his sophomore album which was the charting Dopamina. In 2021, he appeared as a duo with TINI on her streaming smash song Maldita Foto. The hit song La Bachata from 2000 was made available in 2023. Turizo was raised in a musical family His mother and brother have been musicians. According to him, music was a mandatory aspect of his daily life. When he was young, he taught to play the saxophone, piano as well as guitar. His original plan of action was to become a vet However, his brother Julian was able to convince him how to sing under an instructor from a Cuban teacher. What he got was finding out that he was blessed with talents for singing, changed the direction of his life.
