Rosalia Vila also known as Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") Rosalia Vila (Spanish for "Rosalia") is an Spanish singer and songwriter from Spain. She is a Flamenco and Pop artist. As a teenager she was involved both in traditional and popular music. However, her musical interests have expanded to include hip-hop and soul. Pepe Haichuela, a flamenco guitarist and well-known musician, has described the voice of the young singer as sassy and sweet but with bite. El Mal Querer, her sequel album to Los Angeles in 2017, was both a critical as well as a commercial success. The album topped the Billboard Latin Pop Albums Chart and was awarded an Grammy. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd came out in 2021. It was her third studio album. Motomami collaborated on songwriting with a variety of producers and artists including Cory Henry and James Blake. The album was released in 2022 as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by the famous singer Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to perform alone on the popular program. In addition to winning three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first female to be awarded this award twice. Latin Album of the Year twice.
